The Atlantic Winds

The wind quintet, Atlantic Winds, has been performing since 1991 to the acclaim of audiences all around the Washington, DC/Baltimore area. They are three-time winners of the Baltimore Chamber Music Awards Competition, and, in 1996 and 1997, were awarded grants from the Virginia Commission on the Arts. Each member of Atlantic Winds is committed to educating and inspiring their listeners. The quintet has launched a very successful series of concerts in the public and private schools of Washington, DC/Baltimore metropolitan region. These concerts owe their popularity not only to the high quality of the music and the performers, but also to the fact that they are bringing those elements directly to the students.
