Gonzalo Zambrana and Dalene Erickson are professional ballroom dancers based in Bethesda, Maryland. Dancing and teaching together for more than 20 years, they have studied all disciplines of partner dancing, including salsa, Argentine tango, swing, country western, and American and international styles of ballroom dance. Extremely active in the competitive dance circuit, they have competed throughout the United States, as well as in Canada, Mexico and England. Most recently they were named the Professional Rising Star Champions at Chicago's distinguished Harvest Moon Ball. When they are not competing, the internationally-renowned team teaches extensively on the East Coast in all styles of partner dancing. Mr. Zambrana has been awarded the prestigious Top Teacher Award for the past three years at Ron BennetÆs annual Yuletide Ball, and for the past two years at the annual Capital Dance Sport Championships. They teach both group and private lessons, and are also available to teach and perform for demonstrations and special events.
