Trux Baldwin and the Starlite Octette

The Starlite Octette was introduced in 1985. The Octette combines a big band motif with pop, rock, soul, and other contemporary rhythmic styles. What has evolved is an all-encompassing presentation founded on ôname bandö classics of the late 1930s and 40s, extended selectively to include major hits of succeeding decades. Emphasis is placed throughout the periods covered on performing the recorded versions made popular by the original bands and artists. The Octette library contains photocopies or accurate transcriptions of these more popular arrangements.
