Benova

The Benova String Quartet is one of Northern Virginia's premier chamber ensembles of young musicians including Jennifer Kim, violin; Chris Franke, violin; Tim Lacrosse, viola and Brian Hatton, cello. The BSQ includes members of the National Symphony Orchestra Fellowship Program and principal players in the American Youth Philharmonic. Sponsored by the National Symphony's Youth Fellowship Program, the quartet receives full scholarship coaching with members of the NSO. A recent performance by the BSQ of Maurice Ravel's String Quartet brought high acclaim to the BSQ. The Benova String Quartet has been heard at numerous events throughout the Washington, DC metro area and has performed in receptions and gatherings held at various churches, businesses, private homes, and hotels including the prestigious Westfields Marriot.
