The Blues Blasters

Based in Seville, Spain, The Blues Blasters were founded by Mingo Balaguer and Quique Bonal, the backbones of the former Caledonia Blues Band and The Blues Machine. The Blues Blasters are currently recognized by critics and fans as the best blues band in Spain, and have placed in the Top 30 in the Spanish charts several times. The band has performed in most of Spain’s major blues and jazz festivals, including Moron Jazz Festival-Seville, International Cazorla Blues Festival-Jaen, Almeria Blues Festival, International Cerdanyola Blues Festival-Barcelona, Provincial Jazz Festival of Seville and Internacional Jazz Festival of Granada. Musicians: Brent Larkham (vocals) was born in Sydney, Australia. After many years touring and recording with various acts there, he moved to Spain in 1992, where he continues today to play, write and record in a wide range of musical circles throughout Europe.
