To place an order and for customer assistance:

  • Within the United States and Canada: call our toll-free number, (800) 444-1325, between the hours of 10 AM and 5 PM, 7 days a week.

For inquiries, email us at Giftshop@kennedy-center.org. For security reasons, please do not send your credit card information by email. To place an order, please do so through The Kennedy Center secure website or by phone.

We calculate standard shipping charges based on your order subtotal and delivery location.

Express and priority delivery

Express and priority delivery are available for in-stock items and are able to be delivered to locations with street addresses only; we deliver to rural routes or P.O. boxes by USPS. The availability of express and priority delivery outside of the contiguous 48 states varies by location.

December 19, 2018 is the last day for guaranteed shipping using 2-Day or Overnight Shipping to arrive before Christmas.

International Delivery

The Kennedy Center Gift Shop ships worldwide. Delivery times vary by location. Please be aware that recipients are responsible for all applicable duties, taxes, or brokerage fees.

Oversized items such as framed prints, sculpture, and very large children's toys will incur shipping surcharges for delivery addresses outside of the United States. Please note that not all products are able to be shipped outside the US.

What is your return & exchange policy?

Your satisfaction is our goal. Please inspect your order upon delivery, and if for any reason you are not satisfied, you may return the merchandise within 30 days from the date of purchase. Please note that we can only accept for refund or exchange, merchandise that is current and in saleable condition. If the merchandise is damaged or defective at the time of delivery, please contact Customer Service for instructions. For health and safety reasons, pierced earrings are not returnable or exchangeable.

If your order arrives damaged or missing items, please contact us immediately as we must file a report with carrier within ten (10) calendar days from the date you received your order. In the case of damage, it is important that all packaging be saved so the carrier can determine how the damage occurred. Credits for shipping charges are only given when an item is received in damaged condition or if the item received is incorrect.

Damaged or defective CDs, DVDs, and other multimedia products can be exchanged for the identical item but cannot be returned for a refund. New unopened multimedia products in their original plastic wrap may be returned within 30 days of purchase for a full refund with an original receipt.
