Jacqueline Kennedy was married to Aristotle Onassis from October, 1968 until his death in 1975. Onassis was one of the wealthiest men in the world, and enjoyed giving Jackie extravagant gifts, even when there was no special occasion. He didn’t like to give gifts in a box, he preferred to surprise her in fun and creative ways. He purchased this bracelet in 1971 at Cartier in Paris, and gave it to Jackie on her breakfast tray. The chef hollowed out her roll and hid the bracelet inside for her to find.
The bracelet measures 7 inches and includes a 1 inch extender.
