Job Title: Visual Merchandiser - Part Time
Department: Retail Operations
Job Type: Part-Time
Duties:
The visual merchandiser is responsible for helping retail operations exceed sales plan and profitability targets by creating and maintaining retail displays, analyzing and monitoring sales data, and interacting with customers on the sales floor. This position will work closely with the senior buyer, as well as store managers, warehouse personnel, and sales associates.

Responsibilities Include:

Create, maintain, and/or execute retail displays that customers find appealing, thereby increasing sales, using proper merchandising techniques.

Monitor and analyze sales patterns/data collection, and communicate findings to senior buyer.

Maintain photo documentation and binders for sales associate reference for restocking.

Interact with customers while on the sales floor gaining valuable visual data, exhibiting excellent customer service skills.

Partner and communicate with the senior buyer to ensure expectations and deadlines are understood and met.

Other duties as may be determined by management to perform the necessary functions of this position on an as-needed basis.
Education/Experience/Skills
Familiarity with museum store merchandise and retail store operations.Excellent organizational, merchandising, communication, and customer service skills.Ability to remain focused.Ability to analyze data and see trends.Highly self-motivated.Experience with Microsoft Office applications and inventory control software.
