An instrumental ensemble dedicated to the performance of Renaissance, Baroque and Rococo music (c. 1450-c. 1770) on replicas of original instruments such as recorder, baroque flute, harpsichord, baroque guitar and archlute. Their repertoire includes Colonial Mexican music from historical archives. Presented in cooperation with the Mexican Cultural Institute.

In April ‘09, the Sibleys took top honors in the “Great American Duet Sing-Off” on NPR’s A Prairie Home Companion. The same month they released their fourth CD, Coming Home.

Ziv Ravitz's “Images From Home” is the first debut for this world renowned Drummer/Composer. The music can be described as cross culture fusion between Israeli folklore, American jazz, north African rhythms and European classical music. The members of this ensemble (Avishai Cohen, Omer Klein, Haggai Cohen Milo) are a part of the elite in the current jazz scene in the world. They all share similar background that helps the music to be what it is - A representation of life in Israel manifested in music. Presented in cooperation with the Embassy of Israel.

The singers are going back to their roots, physically and metaphorically, in Blonde Ambition—an evening of cabaret. After short-lived stints as a redhead and brunette respectively, they dive back into the world of musical storytelling through the works of Sondheim and Kander and Ebb, with a few highlights of contemporary pop/rock, all while giving off the faint smell of bleach.

Bowen McCauley Dance (BMD) presents an evening of world premiere performances: in Novelletten No. 8, BMD’s professional company dances to Robert Schumann’s enchanting piano score; in If I Can’t Dance, Dance for PD (BMD’s outreach program for people with Parkinson Disease and their caregivers ), participants take the stage for the first time; and in Mambozart, Kenmore Junior Company (BMD’s outreach program for students at Kenmore Middle School in Arlington, Virginia) showcases a new energetic work that demonstrates the youthful joy of dance.
