LISA EMENHEISER

About the Artist

Lisa Emenheiser is widely recognized as a leading keyboard artist. She earned her bachelor’s and master’s of music degrees from The Julliard School, where she was a scholarship student of Ania Dorman. She has appeared as soloist with the National Symphony’s Piano 2000 Festival, at the Kennedy Center’s “Journey to America” festival in 2002, and at the Mozart Festival held at the Kennedy Center for the past five years.

An established chamber musician, Ms. Emenheiser has performed across the globe with Julius Baker, Eugenia Zukerman, Ransom Wilson, Jean-Pierre Rampal and Nadja Salerno-Sonnenberg as well as with principal members of the New York Philharmonic, the Cleveland Symphony, and the National Symphony Orchestra. Ms. Emenheiser teaches privately, and was previously an artist in residence at The Washington Conservatory of Music as a member of the Opus 3 Trio with cellist David Hardy and violinist Charles Wetherbee. Currently, she is adjunct pianist for the National Symphony Orchestra and pianist for the 20th Century Consort and Opus 3 Trio.
