About the Artist
Jane Jerardi, a choreographer and dancer based in Washington, DC, has presented her work at a variety of local venues including Dance Place, Joe's Movement Emporium, the Publick Playhouse, the DCAC, and the Hand Chapel at Mount Vernon College, among others. She has worked on recent projects with Daniel Burkholder/The Playground, Maida Withers Dance Construction Company, and Laura Schandelmeier. A recent recipient of a Young Emerging Artist award from the DC Commission on the Arts & Humanities, she holds a BA in Dance/Performance and Cultural Studies from Hampshire College, Amherst, MA.
