    Comedian Nikki Glaser first gained notoriety during season four of Last Comic Standing when she advanced to the semifinals while she was still attending college. Since then, she has performed stand up on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and Last Comic Standing 7 and has appeared in the film Punching The Clown, the comedy documentary I Am Comic, and Amy Schumer’s pilot for Comedy Central. Glaser also cohosts the popular comedy podcast, You Had To Be There. This program contains mature themes and strong language.     Members of the National Symphony Orchestra training program—Eric Costantino, viola (11th grade, West Potomac High School, Alexandria, VA), Didi Park, cello (12th grade, Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology, Falls Church, VA), Gaby Pho, horn (8th grade, Poe Middle, Annandale, VA), and Julia Angelov, violin (8th grade, National Cathedral School, DC)—perform solos on the Millennium Stage. The program encourages high school students to become orchestral musicians of the future through a monitored, performance-oriented training program designed for serious music students.

    Comedian Chris Gethard takes the stage with an opening set by Courtney Fearrington. Gethard is the host of the cult public access hit The Chris Gethard Show and author of the book A Bad Idea I’m About to Do. He has been heard on This American Life and seen on The Office, Louie, The Other Guys, and Iron Man 3. He is a mainstay performer at New York’s Upright Citizens Brigade Theater, where he has been performing for 12 years, and was named one of Variety’s “Ten Comics to Watch” in 2010.
