VSA arts: Playwright Discovery Evening Sep 29, 2009 at 7:30 PM
VSA arts presents the world premiere of an outstanding play about disability by a high school student. In this program, one script is selected from hundreds of submissions and is professionally produced, headlining an evening at the Kennedy Center.

As part of the VSA arts International Festival, the NSO, conductor Kristjan Järvi, and percussionist Evelyn Glennie perform Tüür's "Magma." The uplifting program also features music from Ellington and Bernstein.
