Isabel is a comedy about the adventures of a New York couple trying to
have a baby – by any means necessary. Their difficulties in conceiving lead them
through an "Alice in Wonderland-esque" odyssey through the booming business
of the late nineties: negotiating the fertility trade, the adoption industry,
and their own families.
