Official Rules and Regulations

No purchase necessary. A purchase will not increase your chances of winning. Void where prohibited. Open only to legal residents of the United States who are 18 years of age or older as of May 1, 2013. Odds of winning depend on number of entries received. Contest begins at 9 a.m. on May 1, 2013 and ends at 11:59 p.m. on May 31, 2013 ("Contest Period"). All times during this Contest refer to Eastern Standard Time ("EST").
This Contest is sponsored by The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts (the "Sponsor" or the "Kennedy Center").
There are two ways to enter this Contest. By joining Kennedy Center Membership via the Kennedy Center website during the month of May with a contribution of $60 or more, you will automatically be entered into the contest. To enter without making a contribution, please send an e-mail which includes your name, address, telephone number and email address to email@example.com with the subject "Night Out Drawing".
You may enter once during the Contest period. Entries generated by a script, macro or other automated means will be disqualified. Entries that are incomplete, illegible or corrupted are void and will not be accepted. All entries become the property of the Kennedy Center and will not be acknowledged or returned. All entries must be received no later than 11:59 pm on May 31, 2013 to be eligible for the period,s drawing. CAUTION: Any attempt by an entrant or any other individual to deliberately damage any online service or web site or undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest is a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, the Kennedy Center reserves the right to seek damages and/or other remedies from any such person to the full extent permitted by law.

Selection of Winner And Eligibility
One winner will be selected in a random drawing under the supervision of the Development Department of the Kennedy Center from all eligible entries on or about June 11, 2013 and will be notified via the email address provided in the entry form within 14 days of the drawing. By entering the Contest, entrants agree to waive any right to claim any ambiguity or error in these Official Rules, or the Contest itself, and agree to be bound by these Official Rules and by all decisions of the Sponsor, whose decisions are binding and final. Winners may be required to sign and return to Sponsor an affidavit of eligibility and liability and publicity release within 14 days of notification.
If any prize notification is returned as undeliverable, or if winner is unable to be reached after two weeks from the date of notification, or in the event of non-compliance with any of these Official Rules, the prize will be forfeited, and an alternate winner will be selected from the remaining eligible entries based on the above stated criteria. Employees of the Kennedy Center, its vendors and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliate companies, as well as their respective advertising and promotion agencies and members of their immediate families (spouses, parents, children, and siblings and their spouses) and/or persons living in the same households as such persons are not eligible to enter the Contest.
There will be one Prize awarded consisting of the following: Dinner for two at the Kennedy Center's Roof Terrace Restaurant, one pair of tickets to the following performance: Anything Goes on July 2, 2013 at 7:30 p.m. at the Kennedy Center, and a free parking pass to be used in the Kennedy Center garage on the night of the performance. Dinner is subject to availability of reservations at the Roof Terrace Restaurant, does not include alcoholic beverages and is limited to a $250 maximum dinner charge. Tickets are for a single evening performance among those listed above and are subject to availability.
Total Prize value is approximately $450. Tickets must be used on dates and times designated by Sponsor or prize will be forfeited in its entirety and awarded to an alternate winner. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a similar prize of equal or greater value at its sole discretion. All taxes and all other expenses, costs or fees associated with the acceptance and/or use of any prize, including, but not limited to, transportation, are the sole responsibility of the winner. This Prize cannot be transferred by winner or redeemed for cash and is valid only for the services detailed above, with no substitution of Prize by winner.
In the event this Contest is terminated before all prizes are awarded or if any prize is forfeited or unclaimed, Sponsor will randomly select from remaining eligible entries an alternate winner for all remaining prize elements, which may be substituted with a similar prize of equal or greater value at Sponsor's sole discretion. Winner's companions may be required to complete a liability and publicity release which must be returned with each Winner's affidavit of eligibility and liability release, or the prize will be forfeited and alternate winner selected. If the Winner's guest is a minor, his/her parent or legal guardian must complete the release on the guest's behalf.
Winner assumes all liability for any injury or damages caused or claimed to be caused by Winner's participation in the Contest and/or the acceptance and/or use of any prize and releases the Kennedy Center, its officers, trustees and employees, subsidiaries and affiliates ("Released Parties") as well as its advertising and promotion agencies from any such liability, even if caused by their negligence. Released Parties assume no responsibility for any injury or damage to participants or to any other person's computer relating to or resulting from entering or downloading materials or software in connection with this Contest.
Released Parties are not responsible for technical, hardware, software, or telephone malfunctions of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed incorrect, incomplete, inaccurate, garbled or delayed electronic communications caused by the user or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in this Contest or by any human error which may occur in the processing of the entries in this Contest. Entry constitutes permission (except where prohibited by law) to use winner's name, city, state, likeness and/or voice for purposes of advertising, promotion and publicity without additional compensation. Entries will be declared made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at time of entry.
Sponsor is not responsible for telecommunications, network, electronic, technical or computer failures of any kind, for inaccurate transcription of entry information, errors in any promotional or marketing materials, errors in these rules, for any human or electronic error, including but not limited to the administration of this Contest or prizes, or for entries that are stolen, misdirected, garbled, delayed by computer transmissions, lost, late, damaged, or postage due. All entries become the property of the Kennedy Center and will not be acknowledged or returned.
Sponsor reserves the right to withdraw the transmission of this Contest and award the Prize from among eligible entries received prior to the date of the withdrawal. Failure to comply with these rules may result in disqualification from this Contest. Sponsor reserves the right to permanently disqualify from the Contest any person it believes has violated these rules. The Kennedy Center reserves the right to alter/revise any and/or all elements, prize packages, dates, etc. of any said promotion, due to unforeseen circumstances, beyond its control, i.e., emergency programming interruptions, discontinued services, etc.
The failure of Sponsor to comply with any provision of these Official Rules due to an act of God, hurricane, war, fire, riot, earthquake, terrorism, act of public enemies, actions of governmental authorities outside of the control of Sponsor (excepting compliance with applicable codes and regulations) or other force majeure event will not be considered a breach of these Official Rules.
