From Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, Wicked, and 9 to 5 on Broadway to NBC's hit television show Smash, America's newest star is the multi-talented Megan Hilty! Over Thanksgiving weekend, she joins the NSO Pops for Luck Be a Lady--singing the songs of Frank Sinatra and more.
Hailed as "the new princess of Broadway" by Time Magazine, Megan Hilty comes together with NSO Principal Pops Conductor Steven Reineke and dashing leading man Aaron Lazar (Les Misérables, A Little Night Music) to pay tribute to the tunes of Ol' Blue Eyes--including "The Lady Is a Tramp," "Moon River," and "I've Got You Under My Skin"--as well as Broadway classics such as "Diamonds Are a Girl's Best Friend," "Almost like Being In Love," "Two Sleepy People," and "Someone to Watch Over Me." The program also includes favorites by Cole Porter, Harold Arlen, and many others.
Note: This replaces the previously scheduled concerts by Seth MacFarlane, who is unavailable to perform due to a scheduling conflict.
