Following the international success of his debut feature The Girl, Fredrik Edfeldt returns with this delicate, moving account of the blossoming of a relationship between a father and a daughter. Faced with the prospect of being put into foster care once her father is sentenced to prison, Hella instead goes on the run with him, trying to escape the authorities while creating her own special world. As in his earlier work, Edfeldt gets an extraordinary performance from his young actor, Clara Christiansson: we witness the gradual evolution of her relationship to her father, as well as her own emergence as a young woman. The director will offer a short introduction before the screening and host a brief Q&A afterwards.
