For International Jazz Day, Offlines Project feat. Yinon Muallem & Guy Mintus presents a border-defying duet that marries influences from Turkish makam to Indian rhythms, Jewish melodies, and originals treated through the lens of jazz improvisation.
The Millennium Stage presents a special preview of Funk Parade, the D.C. day fair, music festival, and parade which will take place on May 7 along the U Street corridor. The parade celebrates the city’s vibrant cultural past, as well as showcases the current artistic community.
