Created in 1820 the band of the Carabinieri, the national military police of Italy, has been playing in military parades and concert halls worldwide. Their splendid uniforms and the formal precision of their musical performances will bring to life traditional marches and classical music. The concert is part of the “Protecting our Heritage” series of events organized by the Washington cluster of the European Union National Institutes of Culture (EUNIC). In partnership with the Embassy of Italy and the Italian Cultural Institute in Washington D.C., it will be dedicated to those who risk their lives to preserve the Cultural Heritage of Humanity for future generations. With the support of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles and Banca Intesa Sanpaolo. Free general admission tickets will be distributed in the Hall of Nations starting at approximately 5 p.m., up to two tickets per person.
