Jon Epcar’s diverse credits as a drummer include performing on Broadway with the shows Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark and Amelie, recording with John Legend, Rihanna, Justin Timberlake, Natasha Bedingfield, and Bono, as well as touring with the band Carney. Jon Epcar’s debut album Morning Drone finds him leading the band for the first time as writer, producer, and drummer on the album.  Drawing inspiration from Bill Frisell to Ennio Morricone to Daniel Lanois, the music here is instrumental, melodically driven and cinematic in nature. His collaborators are some of Los Angeles and New York’s most creative and lyrical musicians, and together they create a sonic scape that is lush, simple, and emotive.
