Boys & Girls Club of Greater Washington presents: Holiday Swing

IN THE CONCERT HALL. Free general admission tickets will be distributed in the Hall of Nations starting at approximately 4:30 p.m., up to two tickets per person.

Holiday Swing is the 2nd part of the trilogy holiday series (Holiday Sing, Holiday Swing and Holiday Tings’) created by award winning composer Tony Small (
The concert will swing classical works from Beethoven and Bach to holiday classics and musical theatre songs from Rogers and Hammerstein’s Sound of Music arranged by Mr. Small as well as other originals.
The performance is an outcome of a multidisciplinary arts program at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Washington where 100 youth perform alongside professional artists, a 30-piece chamber orchestra and band and this year a community choir. features Machiko Ozawa ( winner of the Artists International, legendary Motown lead singer Joe Coleman from the Platters, the sultry jazz saxophonist Corinthia Cromwell, mezzo-soprano Denyce Graves protégé Taylor Boykins (, Gospel Artists Michael White and Larry Vaughn, Apollo youth division winner Ronald Johnson and many of DC’s finest instrumentalist and vocalist.
