Go-Go 101

1/31/2020 at 6:00 PM

From its 1960s origin to the current style we know today, Go-Go has influenced a massive part of what it means to be a Washingtonian. Through performances and education, from natives leading the culture, the 101 series will help you understand its importance to our city.

This event will host a panel of speakers including Joe Clair of WKYS, Anwar "Big G" Glover of BYB, Michelle Blackwell of What Band, Tre of UCB, and more to be announced. DJ Alizay will be spinning.

By Dominique Wells and Kelcie Glass, presented in partnership w/ GIRLAAA. Promoted by Long Live Go-Go.
