Kiran Deol


Kiran Deol is an actor/writer/filmmaker/standup. She is currently a part of Crooked Media’s podcast Hysteria, and her stand-up credits include Live At Gotham and Hulu’s Coming to the Stage as well as countless stages around the greater Los Angeles area. She directed the documentary Woman Rebel, which was nominated for an Emmy, shortlisted for an Oscar, and distributed by HBO. She also directed American Haze, a documentary about her own family’s immigration story for Sundance Now. She is a lead in the Kal Penn NBC pilot Sunnyside, and was a lead of the Pop TV Pilot Arranged. Other TV credits include The Mindy Project, How to Get Away with Murder, Modern Family, and New Girl. She also starred in the indie feature film Farah Goes Bang, which won the first Nora Ephron prize at Tribeca.
