Felicia Curry



Biography

Felicia Curry (The Bus Driver) is thrilled to be returning to the Kennedy Center, having previously been in the NSO Young People’s Concert, OLIVÉRió, Chasing George Washington, and Roald Dahl’s Willy Wonka (National Tour). She recently appeared as Undine in the acclaimed production of Fabulation at Mosaic Theatre and Miss Honey in Matilda at Olney Theatre Center. She is a 2018 Helen Hayes Lead Actress winner for Lela & Co. (Factory 449), with a total of seven Helen Hayes nominations and three ensemble Helen Hayes awards. She is an artistic associate with Ford’s Theatre and a company member of Factory 449. She was recently featured in Washingtonian as one of D.C.’s ten Biggest Theater Stars.

Starring an innovative mix of actors, puppets, songs, and feathers, this world premiere Kennedy Center commission features a script by Mo Willems, creator of the best-selling “Pigeon” picture books, along with Muppet Babies executive producer Mr. Warburton, plus music by Deborah Wicks La Puma, the composer of Elephant & Piggie’s We Are in a Play! Ages 5+. There is a four (4) ticket limit per household for Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus! (The Musical!)
