Radio/TV Personality, Actress and Media Executive, Jeannie Jones began her evolving career in entertainment at an early age charming audiences in theater and dance. Her announcing debut began in Washington, D.C. with an internship. By the time she completed her studies in Journalism at the University of Maryland she knew that broadcasting was her career choice. Jeannie first majoR&Break happened in Norfolk, VA at 103 Jamz radio and WAVY-TV 10 (NBC). Jeannie then returned to her hometown, Washington, D.C. to create her own company, Meow Media which is responsible for producing her syndicated entertainment report Jeannie Juice, Kitty Lounge Radio and the PBS documentary Our Children Are In Pain. Meow Media in association with Ready Set Impact Global Multimedia Firm specializes in: Publicity, Radio/TV/Film Production, Music Production Publishing (Meow Music Mix/ASCAP), Casting and management. The Washington Post calls Jeannie Oprah in Training because of her many strong points versatility stands out most. Although covering entertainment has been constant in Jeannie career, she has proven to be skilled at handling more serious news issues for radio, television and newspapers. She was co-host on the Russ Parr Morning Show at Radio One then she continued to rock the Washington, D.C. market hosting the #1 night show, Love Talk on WPGC 95.5 (CBS Radio) and guest star on the Donnie Simpson Morning Show. Then she returned to Radio One to continue her own top rated midday show for a decade. Jeannie talents extend to doing voiceovers for the WNBA and spokesperson for several major corporations including IPOD, Coca Cola, GMC, Anheuseur-Busch, MAC Cosmetics and LOREAL Paris. She is also a featured music critic (WTTG-FOX 5 Morning News, BET, The Washington Post, and XM Satellite), a motivational speaker and community activist through The Jeannie Jones Position To Transition Series. She has received numerous awards including the NAACP Leadership Award for donating her time and resources to such organizations as the American Heart Association, The Washington Humane Society, National Museum of Women in the Arts, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Children National Medical Center, Miss USA Pageant, Urban Journalism Workshop for National Public Radio, The Jeannie Jones Beltway Fitness Tour, BETRapItUp Tour for Education and Prevention of HIV/AIDS, Susan G.Komen Walk to End Breast Cancer, Cecile House for Haiti, and she is a member of the National Association for female Executives.
