The Luther Jackson Concert Choir is group of 53 talented young people from around the world. Jackson Middle School hosts students from 60 different countries, where amidst such diversity, some 45 languages are spoken. They sing in different languages such as Latin, Spanish, French, and Swahili; and music that is graded from Level 3 (moderately difficult) to Grade V (Difficult). Many students in this choir also play orchestral oR&Band instruments. The group has since performed at National Harbor, Dewberry Associates Engineering Firm, for the Washington Wizards, The Virginia Music Educators Association (as the only Middle School in Virginia), and The Potomac Nationals. Their rigorous curriculum includes vocal production, sight reading, rhythm studies, and movement.
