Sarah Mesko

American mezzo-soprano Sarah Mesko last appeared with WNO as Dorabella in Cosi fan tuttle (Domingo-Cafritz Young Artistemperformances, 2012). A graduate of the Domingo-Cafritz Young Artist Program (2010-12), her other appearances with WNO include Suzuki (Madama Butterfly, 2011), Alisa (Lucia di Lammermoor, 2011), and the Second Priestess (Iphigenie en Tauride, 2011). Upcoming engagements include Janaek Diary of One Who Disappeared with Vocal Arts DC and tenor Toby Spence, a recital with San Francisco Opera Center Schwabacher Debut Recital Series, a company debut with Opera Lafayette as Junon and Hyale in Charpentier Acteon, and a company debut with Santa Fe Opera, performing Amelie in La Grande-Duchesse de Gerolstein and covering Malcom in La donna del lago. She has appeared with the National Symphony Orchestra, the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, the Alexandria Symphony, the Washington National Cathedral Choral Society, the Dolce Suono ensemble, the Aspen Music Festival Chamber Orchestra, Mercury Baroque, the John Harrison Opera Foundation, the Hot Springs Music Festival Orchestra, and the Arkansas, Fort Smith, and North Arkansas Symphonies.
