Miloš Repický

Born in Bratislava, Slovakia, and raised in France and Canada, pianist and conductor Miloš Repický is a member of the music staff of the Metropolitan Opera, where this season he prepared Rusalka and Madame Butterfly. Mr. Repický also conducted Le Nozze di Figaro at the Juilliard School and completed a film score soundtrack for the feature film The Bohemians, an adaptation of Puccini's La Bohème. Other operatic engagements this season include The Cunning Little Vixen with the Cleveland Orchestra and Kat'a Kabanova with the Spoleto Festival. His recent credits include Tristan und Isolde at the Canadian Opera Company and La Bohème for the Royal Opera House Muscat in Oman. As a pianist, Mr. Repický collaborates with artists at premier concert venues such as Alice Tully Hall, Weill Hall, and the Chicago Cultural Center. He serves as guest faculty at the Juilliard School, Curtis Institute, the Chautauqua Institution, and Castleton Festival, and is musical director at the Highlands Opera Studio. Mr. Repický studied at the Manhattan School of Music and is an alumnus of the Music Academy of the West, San Francisco Opera Center's Merola Program, and the Banff Centre. Current as of March 2014
