Q. Smith

Q. Smith hails from Omaha, Nebraska and was one of the first African American women to graduate with a BFA in Musical Theatre. She is currently playing the role of Mrs. Corry in Mary Poppins She is also writing a book, Queens of the Theatre. Ms. Smith was last seen at the Kennedy Center as the closing Ceremony soloist for the Vital Voices Awards founded by Hillary Clinton. Broadway: Les Miserables. Off Broadway/Concerts: Mabel Washington in Fame: The Musical on 42nd Street (cast recording). Showboat at Carnegie Hall, Broadway Inspirational Voice Choir, and sang backup for Carol King at Paul Newman's Hole in the Wall Fundraiser.
