Une Soirée de Danse

Bowen McCauley Dance presents the musical quartet, UnRavel, choreographed by the beloved Washingtonian, the late Eric Hampton and restaged by Alison Crosby, set to Maurice Ravel’s Le Tambeau de Couperin. The evening’s world premiere is choreographed by Lucy Bowen McCauley, a stunning group dance, set to the remarkable piano music of Franz Liszt played live by Nikola Paskalov. McCauley’s Le Café Carambole will close the program on a comedic high note. This urbane romp with a precocious cast of seven, revels in the masterful music of Paul Schoenfield's Burlesque and Cafê Music, played live by the Gemini Piano Trio. Bowen McCauley Dance is celebrating its 22nd season and has been recognized by the Washington Post as “Metro DC’s premier contemporary dance company.”
