Now, this is Halloween! The REACH transforms into Halloween Town with a free screening of Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas on the REACH Video Wall. With a gorgeous score by Danny Elfman featuring tons of catchy tunes like “This is Halloween” and “What’s This?,” you can’t help but get into the Halloween spirit. Directed by Henry Selick with all the hallmarks of Tim Burton’s legendary films, this stop-motion animated musical is the perfect movie for a night of frights and fun.

Bored with the same old scare-and-scream routine, Pumpkin King Jack Skellington longs to spread the joy of Christmas. But his merry mission puts Santa in jeopardy and creates a nightmare for good little boys and girls everywhere!

Before the film, starting at 6 p.m., join Becky Ferrell (Executive Director of Dance Metro DC) as she leads the crowd in a dance class where you’ll learn the moves to ghoulish tunes such as “Monster Mash” and The Rocky Horror Picture Show’s “The Time Warp” dance, plus a DJ sets the scene with a haunted playlist. Don’t forget to grab a snack—there will be food and drinks for sale.

Please note that the film screening and DJ & Halloween Dance Lessons will be open-captioned.

All treats, no tricks for MyTixers!
Head to the MyTix table at the Welcome Pavilion for a special Halloween surprise! The first 100 MyTixers will receive candy and swag.
