Washington National Opera Presents
Exhibition: RETNA
August 14 - September 24, 2017
Hall of Nations

The visionary artist behind the set and costumes of WNO’s Aida (performed in the Kennedy Center Opera House, Sep. 9–23, 2017) brings his art to the Hall of Nations in a six-week exhibition.

Inspired by L.A.’s mural culture, RETNA is known for his art that fuses fine art and graffiti, straddling the traditional with the contemporary. In addition to exhibiting at galleries and institutions around the world, he has worked with advertising for brands such as VistaJet, Louis Vuittion, and Nike.

Says RETNA, "Having my work used for Aida marks a turning point in my artistic development."

Note: This exhibition is FREE and open to the public from 10 a.m. to Building Close.
Please Note: There is NO free parking when attending free events.
