Making their U.S. debut, an ensemble of musicians from the São Paulo Youth Orchestra plays a program of South American rhythms including songs made famous by Portuguese Brazilian entertainer Carmen Miranda, popular songs from Carnaval, and more. Free samba class beginning at 5 p.m. Presented with the support of Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Governo do Estado de São Paulo, Consulado Geral dos Estados Unidos em São Paulo, Ministério da Cultura do Brasil, and Governo Federal do Brasil.
