The group was founded by Andre Thierry and Sean Ardoin, and its mission is to further Louisiana’s Creole music tradition by creating new standards that incorporate the old styles. Creole United is a movement and a band that includes Creole artists from all living generations and styles. Part of the Homegrown: The Music of America concert series.
