Led by the UK’s most celebrated player of the Punjabi dhol drum, Johnny Kalsi, The Dhol Foundation performs energetic arrangements of dhols, bass, drums, guitar, and dholak. It can also include bhangra dancers and guest singers powering out a sound that is as eclectic as it is forceful. They have been featured on Hollywood film soundtracks, performed at the Royal Variety Performance in 2011, and helped to close the London 2012 Olympics with a live performance before their biggest-ever crowd.
