Members of the Washington area creative community including April + VISTA, G.U.M.P., Meche Korrect, and DJ RBI will join together to honor the cultural impact and influence of early 2000s group The Soulquarians, comprised of such artists as Common, D’Angelo, Erykah Badu, Q-Tip, J Dilla, The Roots, Mos Def and more. Curated by D.C.-based conceptual artist and musician Jamal Gray, and the multimedia arts collective CMPVTR CLVB. This concert precedes the NSO Pops performance with rapper Common in the Concert Hall..
