Established in 1994, the Smooth & EZ (SEZ) Hand Dance Performing Arts Troupe is recognized as the oldest, largest, and BEST Hand Dance Performing Arts Troupe in the Washington, D.C. area. The SEZ Dance Troupe has performed locally and nationally for government and private organizations. They have performed from Washington, D.C. to Las Vegas, NV, and from Massachusetts to Atlanta, GA. The troupe's individual members have competed in numerous dance competitions. Their experience over the years has served to fortify their skills, style, and performance level, making SEZ the most entertaining Hand Dance Troupe in the country. This unique style of performance and teaching methods have been so widely received that they are solely responsible for having Hand Dance declared the “official” DANCE of Washington, D.C.

National Dance Day takes place from 2–10:30 p.m. and features special guest dancers through interactive dance lessons and performances in a wide variety of dance styles, as well as the official National Dance Day routine for this year’s event, led by So You Think You Can Dance's Tony Bellissimo. Learn more about the full day's festivities HERE.
