Douglas Taurel: The American Soldier

Loading the player...

The American Soldier  is based on actual letters written by veterans and their family members from the American Revolution all the way through current day Afghanistan. The play touches on many aspects of war and explores the bravery veterans and families face day-to-day as they return home from combat. Playwright, Douglas Taurel, hopes to “bring awareness to the sacrifices our veterans and their families have made for us, and more importantly, honor them.”

This performance contains mature themes and strong language. It features gun and machine gun sound effects.
