BLACK GIRLS ROCK! Fest™ is a multi-day immersive live experience that celebrates, empowers, and elevates women and girls of color. Inspired by the popular BLACK GIRLS ROCK!™ Awards, BGR! FEST™ brings renowned women musicians, thought-leaders, and creative innovators to the DMV during International Women’s Day Weekend March 58th. Successfully launched in 2019, the second edition of BGR! FEST™ at the Kennedy Center includes concerts, discussions, workshops, activations, and free community events.

About the Club at Studio K
The Club at Studio K is D.C.’s newest destination to experience the very best in contemporary music and culture. Showcasing a dynamic mix of rising stars and highly celebrated artists working in the genres of comedy, contemporary music, Hip Hop, jazz, and new music in an intimate setting, the Club at Studio K is a creative hub and hang space for artists and audiences alike.

Known for his soul-drenched, buttery, smooth vocals, Washington D.C. native Kevin Ross is a multifaceted singer, songwriter, and producer who has toured with R&B/Soul artist Maxwell and written for artists like Jaime Foxx.

Presented as part of The Irene Pollin Audience Development and Community Engagement Initiatives.


The design aesthetic for the Club at Studio K was conceived of by Vicente Wolf of Vicente Wolf Associates. Additional support for the design of the Club was provided by Kennedy Center Emeritus Trustee Margaret Russell. The furnishings were provided courtesy of Wayfair, Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams, and Perennials.
