Come dance to the beat of reggaeton with live music performances, move with the rhythm of salsa, merengue, and samba dance classes, and of course, a picturesque Artesanias market for all ages.

¡Viva Cultura!: A Celebration of Latinx Arts and Culture is part of the Kennedy Center's 2021 Millennium Stage Summer Series, celebrating our societal emergence from the pandemic and the return of live performance.

Access & Registration

Access to the event space is first come, first served (no tickets or check-in required!) and may be restricted due to capacity. Register in advance to receive the latest program and weather updates. Registration covers all events listed on the schedule below.

Limited seating is available on a first come, first serve basis for guests with disabilities.

What to Bring

For all events and performances

  • A face covering is required for all un-vaccinated patrons. Patrons who are fully vaccinated are not required to wear a face covering when outdoors.
  • If you'd like to sit, bring your own blankets or folding chairs. Personal chairs must be limited to 36” high or smaller. Limited seating is available on a first come, first serve basis for guests with disabilities.

If you're participating in Sound Health: Yoga at the REACH or Dance Sanctuaries

  • Shoes that protect your feet—classes take place outside on the REACH Plaza, which has a stone floor
  • Your own yoga mat
  • Your own towel(s)
  • Water
  • Warm clothes/layers, as some days may be slightly cooler than others
  • A desire to move your body and have fun!

The League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) Arlington, VA Council 4613 is proud to present a special performance by the Kadencia Orchestra, a group dedicated to conserving and promoting Afro-Puerto Rican music. The band uses Bomba, Plena, and Salsa to promulgate Puerto Rican culture, educate audiences on the Island’s native musical expressions, and make your body move in ways you never knew possible.

The DMV’s authentic Afro-Latinx experience is back with a midsummer weekend of programming! Adobo Gigante will feature live performances from some of the top local artists in D.C., as well as DJ sets from Pedro Night, DJ Bembona, DJ Alizay, DJ Bo, and more!
