Lucie Arnaz

Lucie Arnaz began her long career in a recurring role onthe television program The Lucy Show. At age 15, she becamea series regular on Here Lucy, a show which ran for six seasons. Shelater starred in her own series, The Lucie Arnaz Show and later inthe critically acclaimed Sons Daughters on CBS. On film Lucie has co-starred in The Jazz Singer with Neil Diamondand Sir Laurence Olivier, as well as starring in several made for televisionmovies including Who Killed The Black Dahlia, Washington Mistress, Th ating Season, Who Gets The Friends?, Abduction ofInnocence and Down to You, a Miramax feature film with FreddiePrinze, Jr. and Henry Winkler. Lucie just completed work on two independentfilms Wild 7 and The Pack. On the stage, Lucie first created the role of Kathy in the West Coast premiereof Vanities at the Mark Taper Forum in Los Angeles. She thenhit Broadway starring as Gittel Mosca in the national company of the musical Seesaw. Shespent a summer at The Jones Beach Theatre in New York, in the starring roleof Annie Oakley in the play Annie Get Your Gun. Broadway beckonedheR&Back and she went on to star as the unforgettably wacky Sonia Wolsk inthe Neil Simon/Marvin Hamlisch musical Theyre Playing Our Song. Lucieappeared in the American premiere of Educating Rita and starred inthe national tours of Whose Life is it Anyway? and I Do! I Do! Thereviews were outstanding for her re-creation of one of Lynn Fontannegreat roles in a revival of The Guardsman after which Lucie went onto star opposite Tommy Tune in the international company of the acclaimed Gershwinmusical My One and Only. Under the direction of Mike Nichols,she toured nationally in the Andrew Bergman comedy Social Security. Luciereturned to the Broadway stage where she received rave reviews for her portrayalof Bella in the Pulitzer Prize- and Tony Award-winning play, Lost in Yonkers,written by Neil Simon. In 1995, she starred off Broadway in Graceand Glorie, a two-woman play, withemestelle Parsons. She starredas Maria Callas in Terrance McNally Tony-Award winning play, MasterClass, and as Ruth in a revival of Wonderful Town in Los Angeles. Luci ade her UK theatrical debut starring as Alexandra in the Cameron Mackintoshmusical, The Witches of Eastwick, which opened at the Theatre RoyalDrury Lane in London in July 2000. Most recently, Lucie marked her returnto Broadway in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels in which she had the wonderfulopportunity to be seduced by Jonathan Pryce, Keith Carradine and Greg Jabara. Touring the U.S. and Europe with her critically acclaimed nightclub act,Lucie has made stops in Las Vegas, Atlantic City, Reno and FeinsteinAt The Regency in New York. Her debut album, Just in Time, wasreleased on the Concord label. Arnaz and her husband, actor / writer Laurence Luckinbill, teamed up toform ArLuck Entertainment, a film and television production company, and togetherproduced the documentary Lucy Desi: A Home Movie, whichaired on NBC and was honored with an my. Another company, Educationthrough Entertainment, published two CD-ROMs Lucy Desi: TheScrapbooks, Volume 1 and How to Save Your Family History, A 10-StepGuide by Lucie Arnaz. Lucie has received other awards during her distinguished career, includingthe Los Angeles Drama Critic Circle Award, the Theatre World Award,an Outer Critic Circle Award, in addition to Chicago famedSarah Siddons Award. Arnaz is mother to three children - Simon, Joseph and Katharine - withhusband Laurence Luckinbill, in addition to being step-mother to his two sons,Nicholas and Ben.
