Patrick Wilson received a Golden Globe nomination for his role in Mike Nichols acclaimed production of Tony Kushner's Angels in America for HBO, and will appear as Col. William Barrett Travis in the upcoming film The Alamo. He earned a 2000 Tony Award nomination for Best Actor in a Musical for his role in the Broadway hit The Full Monty. The following year, he starred as Curly in Trevor Nunn's staging of Roger and Hammerstein's Oklahoma! and received his second Tony Award nomination.
