Now You See Us explores the experience of being Muslim-American while preserving ties to global culture and communities that are routinely forgotten or marginalized within the broader cultural landscape of the United States and Asian Pacific America. The program will also highlight themes such as global Muslim folklore, diasporic cultural preservation, and spiritualism, with performances by award-winning composer and musician Qais Essar, poet and visual artist Sham-E-Ali, co-hosted by illMuslims.

Presented in collaboration with Smithsonian Asian Pacific American Center.
