An Evening of Love with Eric Roberson

Concert Hall

Following his show-stopping, sold-out Kennedy Center concert in 2022, Grammy-nominated singer, songwriter, producer, professor, and Howard University alum Eric Roberson returns to present an evening of love this Valentine’s Day.

Wed. Feb. 14, 2024

  • Wed. Feb. 14, 2024 8p.m.

Eric Roberson is wearing a large, brown, brimmed hat and clear glasses. He looks off to the side and is sitting infront of a wood coffee table and white couch with pillows.

Program

As a two-time Grammy nominee, singer, songwriter, producer, professor, and Howard University alum, Eric Roberson continues to break boundaries as an independent artist in an industry dominated by major labels, manufactured sounds, and mainstream radio. Described as the original pioneer of the independent movement in R&B/Soul music, Eric has achieved major milestones in his career, from being a successful songwriter and producer for notable artists such as Jill Scott, Musiq Soulchild, Dwele, Vivian Green, and countless others, to headlining sold out tours across the country.

Eric is celebrating twenty one years as an independent artist creating “Honest Music,” which has afforded him the artistic freedom that isn’t typically offered in the music industry. “I was more than willing to take less to enjoy my passion,” he says. “I was fortunate to be rewarded with a career… a career that I never dreamed of.”

Eric’s 17th studio album Lessons, released in 2022, received rave reviews across the board. Don’t miss this show-stopping performance—one night only!
