Conflux

A conflux is the place where two flowing rivers meet and become one. The Kennedy Center sits on a conflux where the Anacostia and Potomac Rivers meet. The Conflux program is a confluence of efforts where the Kennedy Center and a flagship national community partner -- each with its distinct missions, values, and social impact objectives combine efforts. The result is a series of transformative programming that advances the field and maximizes our collective impact.

The Gathering:
A Place For Narrative Change

It is time for us to gather, to fellowship, to generate communal action and dream into the possibilities of the future.

From May 25th to June 2nd, you are invited to participate in the power of The Gathering: A Place For Narrative Change. This will be a week of family-friendly programming curated by National Black Theatre (NBT) to provide a central space for folk to be in dialogue with each other and to unearth the compounded/dynamic narratives that rest in the Black Diaspora existence in America.
